Workely was built by Ashton Ferry, a pressure-washing business owner in Madison, WI, who kept watching inbound leads go cold. A web form at 11pm. A Facebook message during a job. A missed call he couldn't answer with a wand in his hand. By the time he replied, the customer had already booked whoever quoted them first.
So he built what he needed: a system that prices each website lead from his own pricing rules, gets the quote ready with a link to book, and follows up at 1 hour, 1 day and 3 days until they book or say no. It runs alongside the CRM he already had, so there was nothing to rip out.
His brother Vance Ferry co-founded Workely and owns TotalGuard Yard Care, a lawn and yard care company serving 1,100+ properties across Madison. He runs the same system on TotalGuard's inbound leads, so every change gets pressure-tested on two real service businesses, pressure washing and lawn care, before it ships to anyone else.
